Letter to the Editor–Muslim Communities
June 22, 2006 by TMO
To our readers:
Our newspaper is dedicated to presenting different facets of the Muslim life to keep our community better informed.
In our community there is a big evil that attempts to separate and cause dissension between the so-called Suni and so-called Shia communities. This is based mostly on ignorance of the individual and the scheming of the enemies of Islam. As a result you have Muslims fighting and hating each other for no reason other than someone told them to hate. The plain fact is too many Muslims simply don’t know each other.
For this reason, The Muslim Observer will frequently publish articles from different religious leaders, including Shia, Sunni, and others. These articles are in no way endorsed by The Muslim Observer and may, or may not represent the views of this newspaper.
They are meant to merely inform us about the different communities that comprise our religion so we can better know and understand our fellow Muslims. We hope they will be helpful to the greater community and cause us to have more unity.
As always, your comments and suggestions are welcome. Write us at email@example.com.
As Salaam Alaikum
