Ghazali Education Trust Pakistan has 354 Schools, 45,000 Students, & 2,200 Well-Trained Teachers – GET Working on Emergency Basis in Education Field – GET Receives Congressional Recognition from Honorable Sheila Jackson Lee

Houston, Texas (Our Special Correspondent): “We at Ghazali Education Trust (GET) are working on emergency basis to revitalize the Pakistani society through value based education. We have recently started inclusive schools, where children with disabilities study at regular schools, to avoid their alienation. We started in 1995 with few schools. Now we have 354 schools in 35 out of 102 districts of Pakistan, and all catering rural areas in Punjab, Khyber Pukhtaoun Khawah, and Baluchistan. We will soon move into Sindh. We have 45,000 students of which about 22,000 are orphans and 2,200 most well trained teacher. We have developed Government of Pakistan approved exclusive curriculum of all subjects including Islamic Studies from Pre-K till Class Eighth, to develop a Valued Based System of Education, so as to make the future of Pakistan bright & strong. We are here in USA, since the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) invited us, as they are very much interested in the curriculum prepared by subsidiary of GET “Afaq” to introduce part of it in USA, which is a bog acknowledgement of our work,” informed Syed Waqas Anuum Jafri of GET, which is presently one of the largest NGOs Educational Institutes of Pakistan (http://www.get.org.pk/).

He was speaking at a fundraising event at a local Houston Restaurant, where GET was awarded by Syed Waqas Anjum Jafri of Ghazali Education Trust (GET), which is one of the largest NGO Educational Institutes in Pakistan. He received on behalf of GET Congressional Certificates of Recognition from Honorable Co-Chair of Pakistan Congressional Caucus Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee and Liaison Officer Sam Merchant from the Office of Honorable Congressman AL Green, during this vent.
